Kids Kickboxing at AK49 Soldotna
If you have watched your kid shrink a little, or drift to a screen any time the house gets quiet, or come home from school looking smaller than they did at breakfast, this class is for them. Kids Kickboxing at AK49 is a structured martial arts class, not a glorified play hour. Coaches teach kicks, punches, footwork, and pad work, and they hold kids to the kind of standards kids quietly want to be held to. The kids who walk in shy and unsure are usually the ones who walk out six months later standing differently. That is the part most parents come for, whether they say it out loud or not.
Kids leave class tired in a good way, with something they did themselves to be proud of. The changes show up at home first. A little more eye contact. A little less meltdown over the small stuff. A kid who asks to put the iPad down because they have to be at the gym in twenty minutes. We work with kids from Soldotna, Kenai, Sterling, and across the Peninsula. Come watch a class with your kid first. No pressure to sign up the same day.

What Kids Get Out of It
The class teaches technique, but the bigger gains tend to be off the mat. Kids learn that effort produces results, that being respectful makes the room work, and that they are capable of more than they thought before they walked in. That foundation shows up in school, sports, and how they handle the harder days.
Our Kids Kickboxing program in Soldotna welcomes kids who are new to martial arts and kids who have trained before. Parents bring their kids in for a lot of reasons that all sound a little different on the surface but end up being the same underneath. They want a kid who carries themselves with more confidence. They want a counter to the iPad. They want their daughter to walk to her car in ten years and not feel small. They want their son to find an outlet other than gaming. Classes meet in the evenings to fit around school. Parents drive in from Kenai, Sterling, Nikiski, and beyond because the alternatives for serious kids' martial arts on the Peninsula are limited.
