Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Training for Nikiski Residents
Nikiski is a straight shot up the Spur Highway from AK49. A lot of our Nikiski members work shift schedules in oil and gas and use the gym to reset around the rotation. Mornings or evenings, the mats are open.
There is a second kid this class is for. The one who likes puzzles. The one who watches something twice to figure out how it works. BJJ is the thinking kid's martial art. Every roll is a problem with a hundred solutions. Kids who fall in love with it tend to keep training into their teenage years, which is when the lessons matter most.
